Savannah Seminarians Visit White House
![]()
In April, some seminarians studying at Mount Saint Mary's Seminary, Emmitsburg, Maryland, for the Diocese of Savannah had an opportunity to get a behind the scenes tour of the White House. The trip was arranged by seminarian Jacob Almeter who coordinated with Richard Fiesel, a friend of his, who previously guarded the president at the White House. Fiesel offered the seminarians a private tour of the West Wing and the White House Mansion. Though the seminarians did not see President Bush, they were able to see the Oval Office.
