Pastoral Year: Our Lady of Lourdes, Columbus
St. Vincent's Seminary, Latrobe, PA
Projected Ordination Year: 2014
Home parish: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warner Robins, GA

My name is Vernon Knight and I am a Seminarian for the Diocese of Savannah, Georgia. My father is from the state of Kentucky and my mother is from South Korea. My father was a Sergeant in the Army and he married my mother in S. Korea. I was born in the United States in the state of Indiana. Growing up in a military family we lived abroad: from S. Korea, to the Azores Islands of Portugal, and have traveled to other parts of Europe. My father retired from army after 20 years of service, and we moved to Warner Robins, GA where my father now works for the Post Office. My home parish is Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warner Robins. I went to Warner Robins High School where I played Varsity tennis and graduated in 2002. I then attended Macon States College where I did my Associates in Teachers Education of General and Special Fields.
